Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2027 Canadian Edition — 2 Users — 1-Year Subscription Digital Download — Bilingual

Advanced Canadian desktop accounting for growing businesses — two named user licences, unlimited currencies, multiple companies, advanced budgeting and forecasting, and a 1-year subscription with chat and phone support.

Sage 50 Premium Accounting is the step up from Sage 50 Pro for Canadian businesses that have outgrown a single-user setup. It is designed for small businesses that need an accounting solution with advanced business management tools for more than one company, location, or software user. Premium adds multi-user access, unlimited currencies, departmental accounting, multiple companies, advanced budgeting and forecasting, and up to 100 years of financial history, on top of the core invoicing, payables, tax, inventory, and reporting tools that make Sage 50 a long-standing choice for Canadian businesses. It is the Canadian edition of Sage's desktop accounting software, formerly known as Simply Accounting, and is supported by accountants and bookkeepers across Canada. The interface is available in English and French.

This listing is for the 2027 release with a 1-year subscription. Each Premium box includes two named user licences. The subscription includes online chat and phone support, access to Sage University courses, and product updates for the term. The software is installed locally on Windows computers, with optional Sage online services available separately.

Delivered digitally. Available at ITFactory.ca — Canada's trusted source for business software.

Key Features

Multi-User — More Than One Person at a Time Premium lets more than one user work in the company at the same time, so a bookkeeper, owner, and office manager are not taking turns. Each box includes two named user licences, and additional users can be added up to a total of four. Multi-user Premium is optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11.	Multiple Companies and Departmental Accounting Manage the books for more than one company or location from the same software, and use departmental accounting to see how each department or location performs. Ideal for owners with several businesses, franchises, or operations that need separate reporting.
Advanced Budgeting and Forecasting Analyze your business with advanced accounting, forecasting, and budgeting functionality. Build budgets for revenues and expenses, compare actual results against plan, and forecast ahead to support decisions on hiring, purchasing, and growth.	Unlimited Currencies Work with as many currencies as your business needs — Pro is limited to two. Useful for importers, exporters, and businesses that buy from or sell to customers in several countries.
Canadian Tax and Compliance Built for Canadian requirements: calculate GST/HST and PST/QST, file GST/HST online, and reconcile bank statements to your accounting data. Supported by accountants and bookkeepers across Canada, which makes sharing your books with an advisor straightforward.	Get Paid and Pay Bills Track customer sales and payments, track vendor purchases and expenses, and use credit and debit notes. Keep receivables and payables organized so cash flow is predictable and nothing is missed.
Inventory and Project Tracking Manage inventory and keep stock costs connected to your books, and track and report on projects to see which jobs, clients, or initiatives are profitable. Suited to retailers, distributors, contractors, and service businesses.	Up to 100 Years of Financial History Store up to 100 years of financial data in the company file for long-term comparisons and reference. Converts data from previous versions of Sage 50 starting with Sage 50 Accounting Release 2015.3, so existing users can carry their history forward.
Support and Training Included The 1-year subscription includes online chat and phone support for two users, Sage University eLearning modules and eBooks, and the new Sage Assistant chatbot in the 2027 release.	Optional Payroll and Microsoft 365 Integration Sage offers an integrated do-it-yourself payroll module as a separate subscription, creating T4s and tax forms. Optional Microsoft 365 integration is available for businesses on Microsoft 365 Business Standard. Built-in backup and password protection are included.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many users does Premium include?

Each Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2027 purchase includes two named user licences, and Premium supports up to four users in total. Users are named, meaning each licence is assigned to a specific person. If you need more than four users at the same time, a higher Sage 50 edition is required.

Is this a desktop or cloud product?

This is the desktop edition — the software is installed locally on Windows computers and your company data is stored there. Optional subscribed online services such as Remote Data Access can extend it. A hosted version, Sage 50 Cloud, is a separate Sage subscription and is not included with this licence.

What happens if I do not renew the subscription?

According to Sage's subscription terms as listed by retailers, if you choose not to renew, the software goes into read-only mode and support and product updates stop. Your data remains accessible for viewing, but you cannot enter new transactions until the subscription is renewed. Confirm current renewal terms with Sage before purchasing if this matters to your business.

Does it include payroll?

No. Payroll is not part of the Premium Accounting subscription. Sage offers an integrated do-it-yourself payroll module that runs payroll, sets up vacation and sick time, and creates T4s and tax forms. It is a separate subscription priced by the number of employees, and is purchased through Sage.

I use an older version of Sage 50 or Simply Accounting. Can I bring my data across?

Yes. Sage 50 2027 converts data from previous versions of Sage 50 Accounting starting with Release 2015.3. Make a backup of your company data before converting, and have your accountant review the converted file if your books are complex.

Does it work on Mac?

Sage 50 Canadian Edition is compatible only with Windows. Mac users can run it only through Windows virtualization software, such as Parallels Desktop, with a separately licensed copy of Windows. Both Parallels Desktop and Windows licences are sold separately.
