You will receive two separate activation keys by email — one for Microsoft 365 Family and one for ESET Home Security Essential. Activate Microsoft 365 at microsoft.com/redeem with your Microsoft account. Activate ESET at home.eset.com by signing in or creating a free ESET HOME account and entering your key under Add Subscription. Each takes only a few minutes.

Does ESET protect all 6 Microsoft 365 users?

No — this bundle includes ESET Home Security Essential for 1 device only. It protects one computer (Windows, Mac, or Android). The other Microsoft 365 family members are covered by the Office apps and OneDrive, but would need additional ESET licences for their own devices. ESET Home Security Essential for additional devices is available separately at ITFactory.ca.

Does Microsoft 365 include antivirus? Why do I also need ESET?

What changed with OneDrive storage in Microsoft 365 Family?

As of October 2026, Microsoft changed the OneDrive storage model for Microsoft 365 Family from 1 TB per person (up to 6 TB for six members) to a shared 2 TB pool that all members draw from collectively. Each person's files remain private — only the total available storage is shared. If your household needs more than 2 TB combined, additional OneDrive storage can be purchased from Microsoft. The Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot AI, and all other features are unchanged.
