Why the Sensor Design Matters
Most 360 cameras use rectangular sensors, which leave a large portion of the sensor area unused when capturing circular 360 footage. DJI engineered the Osmo 360 with square 4000 x 4000 CMOS sensors — a format that matches the circular capture area more precisely, improving sensor utilization by approximately 25% compared to standard rectangular sensors.
The result: more detail, better low-light performance, lower noise, and reduced power consumption — all from a camera that fits in your pocket.

Key Features
Native 8K 360 Video Record immersive panoramic video at up to 8K/50fps — the highest frame rate available in native 8K on any 360 camera. Also supports 8K/30fps, 6K/60fps, and 4K/100fps for creative flexibility.
Dual 1-Inch Square HDR Sensors Two 4000 x 4000 square CMOS sensors with 2.4μm pixels, f/1.9 aperture, and up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range — capturing rich detail in both bright highlights and deep shadows.
128GB Built-In Internal Storage Never worry about forgetting an SD card. The camera ships with 128GB of ultra-fast internal memory (105GB user-available) built in, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
120MP 360 Photos Capture ultra-high-resolution still images in full 360 degrees — perfect for real estate, virtual tours, travel photography, and any scene where you want every detail preserved.
Up to 190 Minutes Battery Life Record up to 100 minutes at 8K/30fps or up to 190 minutes at 6K/24fps — significantly longer than competing 360 cameras and enough for full-day adventures without recharging.
Single-Lens Mode & 170° Boost Video Transforms instantly into a flat action camera. Shoot sharp 5K/60fps ultra-wide video at 155 degrees, or activate Boost Video mode for an expansive 170-degree field of view and buttery-smooth 4K/120fps footage.
HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0 HorizonSteady keeps footage perfectly level no matter how the camera rotates. RockSteady 3.0 removes shake in single-lens mode for smooth first-person footage — no gimbal required.
10-Bit D-Log M Color Profile Shoot in 10-bit D-Log M for maximum color grading flexibility in post-production — delivering cinematic results whether you edit on mobile or professional software like DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.
Gesture and Voice Control Start and stop recording hands-free with a palm gesture or voice commands — essential for solo creators, athletes, and anyone who needs to capture content without touching the camera.
OsmoAudio™ Direct Microphone Connection Connect up to two DJI Mic transmitters directly to the camera via Bluetooth for professional-quality audio without a receiver. The 4 built-in mics simultaneously track an ambient backup recording as a safety net.
Waterproof to 10 Metres Rated IP68 for underwater use to 10 metres — ready for snorkeling, surfing, and kayaking without requiring a separate housing. A dive case is recommended for deep underwater stitching due to fisheye lens refraction.
DJI Mimo App Editing The DJI Mimo app handles stitching, reframing, and AI-assisted editing directly on your smartphone — so you can go from raw 360 footage to a polished video ready to share in minutes.
Invisible Selfie Stick Effect When mounted on a selfie stick, the Osmo 360 stitches the stick out of the footage automatically — creating a dramatic third-person perspective that looks like footage captured by a floating camera. Note: the Invisible Selfie Stick is not included in the Standard Combo and is sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the DJI Osmo 360 compare to other high-end 360 cameras?
The Osmo 360 features an innovative square sensor design that delivers true 1-inch 360 imaging performance, with 13.5 stops of dynamic range and superior low-light capability. It sets a new benchmark with native 8K/50fps video, 128GB of built-in internal storage, and OsmoAudio™ direct connection for DJI Mic transmitters — with no external receiver module required.
What is included in the Standard Combo box?
The Osmo 360 Standard Combo includes the camera body, an Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus (1950mAh), a camera protective pouch, a rubber lens protector, a lens cleaning cloth, and a USB-C to USB-C PD data cable. It does not include an Invisible Selfie Stick, which is sold separately or available in bundle options at ITFactory.ca.
Can I use the Osmo 360 underwater without a case?
Yes. The camera body is IP68 rated and natively waterproof to 10 metres provided the battery hatch and USB-C doors are fully sealed. However, because underwater light refraction on fisheye lenses can cause distortion along stitching lines, a dedicated underwater dive housing is recommended for submerged 360 video capture. The clear land lens protectors must be removed before going underwater.
Do I need a high-end computer to edit 8K 360 footage?
For everyday editing, mobile workflows, and quick social reframing, the DJI Mimo app processes all stitching seamlessly on your smartphone. For desktop editing in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, a modern system with a discrete GPU is recommended for smooth 8K playback. Working with proxy footage makes editing accessible on standard computers.
What microSD card should I use with the Osmo 360?
While the camera ships with 128GB of built-in internal storage, it also supports external microSD cards up to 1TB. For 8K recording, DJI recommends a card rated UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3), Application Performance Class 2 (A2), and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) for sustained high-bitrate writes. Contact ITFactory.ca for compatible memory card recommendations.
Does it connect directly to older DJI wireless microphones?
The built-in OsmoAudio™ direct pairing protocol supports cable-free connection to DJI Mic transmitters for dual-channel wireless recording straight to the camera. Legacy first-generation DJI Mic setups are not natively supported via Bluetooth and will require plugging the matching receiver module directly into the USB-C port.
