Wireless Microphone System
1 Transmitter + 1 Receiver
DJI Mic Mini
Professional wireless audio in the smallest, lightest microphone DJI has ever made — ultralight, 400m range, 10-hour battery, and direct OsmoAudio connection, no receiver needed.
The DJI Mic Mini is a compact wireless microphone system built for creators who want clean, professional audio without carrying bulky gear. The transmitter weighs just 16.5g and clips magnetically to clothing — small enough to hide under a collar or behind a lapel. Despite its size, it delivers broadcast-quality audio with two-level active noise cancelling, automatic limiting to prevent clipping, and a 400-metre transmission range. The 1 TX + 1 RX kit is the standard single-speaker setup, ideal for solo vloggers, interviewers, and anyone who needs to mic one person at a time.

Three Ways to Connect
OsmoAudio Direct (Receiver-Free) Connect the transmitter directly to any DJI camera in the OsmoAudio ecosystem — Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo Pocket 3, Pocket 4 — via Bluetooth. No receiver required. Audio records straight to the camera. |
Via Receiver (Included) Attach the included receiver to any camera, smartphone, or recording device via the 3.5mm TRS or USB-C output. Works with any DSLR, mirrorless camera, iPhone, Android device, or laptop. |
Standalone Recording The transmitter records audio internally to its own 14-hour internal memory as a safety backup — even without a receiver or camera connected. Never lose audio due to a lost wireless signal. |
Charging Case Doubles as Receiver Transport The included charging case charges both the transmitter and receiver simultaneously — with the receiver stored inside. A simple flip of the case lid ejects the transmitter, ready to clip on and go. |

USB-C to USB-C Charging Cable For charging the case and transferring internally recorded audio to a computer. |
Key Features
16.5g — Barely There The transmitter weighs just 16.5g — lighter than a set of keys. Small enough to hide completely under a collar, behind a lapel, or inside a shirt pocket without creating a visible bulge in the clothing.
400-Metre Wireless Range Stable 2.4GHz wireless transmission up to 400 metres in open environments — giving the speaker freedom to move around a room, stage, or outdoor location without signal dropouts.
10-Hour Transmitter Battery The transmitter runs for up to 10 hours on a single charge — enough for a full day of interviews, events, or on-location shoots. With the charging case, total transmitter runtime extends to 28 hours before needing a wall outlet.
Two-Level Active Noise Cancelling Two selectable noise cancelling levels reduce background noise — air conditioning, crowd murmur, wind — to focus on the speaker's voice. Choose the level that matches your environment for cleaner dialogue recording.
Automatic Limiting — No Clipping Automatic audio limiting monitors input levels in real time and prevents distortion when the speaker raises their voice suddenly. No more ruined takes from unexpected loud moments — audio stays clean at any volume.
Internal Safety Recording The transmitter simultaneously records audio to its own internal memory as a backup — separate from the wireless feed. If the wireless connection drops or the receiver is accidentally disconnected, the audio is still captured and can be transferred via USB-C.
OsmoAudio Direct — No Receiver Needed Pairs wirelessly with DJI cameras in the OsmoAudio ecosystem — Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Pocket 4 — without using the receiver. Eliminates one piece of hardware entirely for a cleaner, simpler setup.
Universal Device Compatibility The receiver connects to any recording device via 3.5mm TRS or USB-C — DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, iPhones, Android phones, laptops, and audio recorders. A TRRS adapter is included for smartphones with a combined headphone jack.
Magnetic or Clip-On Wearing The transmitter attaches magnetically to clothing without any visible hardware — simply place it on fabric and the magnet holds it in place from behind. A traditional lavalier clip is also included for conventional placement.
Charging Case with 18 Hours Extra Power The compact charging case stores and charges both the transmitter and receiver simultaneously. It provides an additional 18 hours of power for the transmitter — bringing combined total runtime to 28 hours before needing an outlet.
Monitor Audio on the Receiver The receiver includes a 3.5mm headphone output for real-time audio monitoring during recording — essential for checking levels and catching issues before they become a problem in post-production.
DJI Mic Mini App Control Adjust gain levels, noise cancellation, EQ settings, and monitor audio via the DJI Mic Mini app on your smartphone — giving you full control over your audio setup without touching the hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the DJI Mic Mini and the DJI Mic 2?
The Mic Mini is smaller, lighter, and lower cost — designed for casual and everyday content creators who want clean wireless audio without paying for features they do not need. The DJI Mic 2 offers broader frequency response, higher audio quality, dual-channel recording from two transmitters to one receiver simultaneously, and is the standard choice included in the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and Pocket 4 Creator Combos. For most solo vloggers, the Mic Mini delivers excellent results. For professional productions, interviews with two speakers, or broadcast-quality requirements, the Mic 2 is worth the step up. Both are available at ITFactory.ca.
Can I use the Mic Mini without the receiver on my DJI camera?
Yes. The DJI Mic Mini is fully compatible with the OsmoAudio direct connection system. It connects wirelessly to any DJI camera in the OsmoAudio ecosystem — including the Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo Pocket 3, and Osmo Pocket 4 — without requiring the receiver. Audio records directly to the camera. The receiver is still needed for non-DJI cameras, smartphones, and other devices.
Does it work with an iPhone?
Yes. Connect the receiver to an iPhone using the USB-C output on the receiver and the Lightning or USB-C port on your iPhone. For older iPhones with a Lightning port, a USB-C to Lightning adapter is required (sold separately). The Mic Mini also works with Android phones via USB-C directly.
What does the internal recording safety backup do?
While transmitting wirelessly, the transmitter simultaneously records audio directly to its own internal memory. If the wireless connection is interrupted, if the receiver battery dies mid-shoot, or if the camera is accidentally disconnected, the internal recording continues uninterrupted. The recorded audio can be transferred to a computer via USB-C after the shoot. It stores up to 14 hours of audio.
Can I mic two people with this kit?
No. The 1 TX + 1 RX kit includes one transmitter and one receiver — suitable for one speaker at a time. To mic two people simultaneously, you need the DJI Mic 2 system (2 TX + 1 RX), which allows two transmitters to connect to one receiver and records dual-channel audio. The Mic 2 is also available at ITFactory.ca.
How does the magnetic clip work?
The transmitter attaches to clothing via a magnetic two-piece clip — one part goes in front of the fabric, the other behind, and they snap together magnetically to hold the transmitter securely. This eliminates the need to thread a traditional lavalier clip through a buttonhole or shirt seam, making attachment much faster and leaving no visible hardware on the front of the clothing if positioned correctly.
