Transmitter Only
32-Bit Float Recording
Expands Existing Mic 3 Systems
Add a third or fourth speaker to your existing DJI Mic 3 system — or replace a transmitter — with the same 32-bit float recording, timecode support, and dual-band wireless as the full kits.
The DJI Mic 3 Transmitter is the standalone clip-on microphone unit from DJI's professional wireless audio system. It is sold individually for two purposes: to expand an existing Mic 3 system — the receiver supports up to four transmitters simultaneously — or as a replacement transmitter for an existing kit. Every feature of the full system is present: 32-bit float internal recording, timecode embedding, dual-band 2.4/5.8GHz wireless, OsmoAudio direct connection to DJI cameras, adaptive gain control, voice tone presets, and 8-hour battery life.
Available at ITFactory.ca — Canada's trusted source for DJI cameras and audio accessories. The receiver and charging case are sold separately — see the DJI Mic 3 1TX + 1RX and 2TX + 1RX kits also available at ITFactory.ca.

When to Buy the Transmitter on Its Own
Expanding to a Third or Fourth Speaker You already own a Mic 3 1TX + 1RX or 2TX + 1RX kit. Adding one or two more transmitters brings your system to three or four speakers on the same receiver — ideal for panel discussions, round-table recordings, and multi-guest interview setups. |
OsmoAudio Direct — Second Speaker on a DJI Camera DJI cameras in the OsmoAudio ecosystem (Osmo Pocket 4, Action 6, Nano, 360) support two transmitters simultaneously without a receiver. If you already have one transmitter and want to mic a second person on the same DJI camera, this is the most cost-effective way to do it. |
Replacing a Lost or Damaged Transmitter If a transmitter in your existing Mic 3 kit has been lost or damaged, this standalone unit restores your full system without needing to purchase an entire new kit. |
Pre-Owned System Expansion Purchased a used Mic 3 receiver and want to add your own fresh transmitters? Each transmitter pairs to any Mic 3 receiver and works immediately after pairing. |

What Is Included
DJI Mic 3 Transmitter x 1 Full-featured wireless transmitter with 32-bit float recording, 32GB internal storage, dual-band wireless, timecode, magnetic and clip-on mounting, and 8-hour battery. |

Transmitter Features
|
32-Bit Float Internal Recording Records audio to 32GB of internal storage in 32-bit float format — impossible to clip regardless of input levels. Even if the wireless connection drops, the internal recording continues uninterrupted as a safety backup.
|
Timecode Embedding Automatically embeds timecode data into internal recording files — enabling frame-accurate synchronization with video and other audio sources in post-production without additional timecode hardware.
|
|
Dual-Band 2.4/5.8GHz Wireless Automatically switches between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz to avoid RF interference in crowded environments. Reliable transmission up to 400 metres in open conditions.
|
OsmoAudio Direct Connection Pairs wirelessly with compatible DJI cameras — Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, Osmo 360 — without a receiver. Up to two transmitters can connect simultaneously via OsmoAudio.
|
|
Lossless Audio Mode When enabled, transmits uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio wirelessly to the receiver for the highest possible wireless audio quality — beyond standard compressed wireless transmission.
|
Adaptive Gain and Voice Tone Presets Adaptive gain automatically compensates for volume variations. Three voice tone presets — Warm, Neutral, Bright — adjust the EQ character of the recording to suit different voices without post-processing.
|
|
Two-Level Active Noise Cancelling Two selectable noise cancelling levels reduce background noise — HVAC, crowd, wind — to isolate the speaker's voice during recording.
|
8-Hour Battery — Fast Charging Up to 8 hours of operation per charge. Fast charging reaches full power quickly via USB-C — minimising downtime between shoots.
|
|
Magnetic and Clip-On Mounting Attaches to clothing via a two-piece magnetic system — no visible clip on the fabric surface. A rotatable traditional clip is also available for conventional placement. Note: the magnetic clip accessory is sold separately for standalone transmitters.
|
No 3.5mm Lavalier Input The transmitter uses its own built-in capsule only. External wired lavalier microphones cannot be plugged in. If external lavalier input is required, the DJI Mic 2 is the appropriate choice and is also available at ITFactory.ca.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this transmitter include a receiver?
No. This is a standalone transmitter only — no receiver, charging case, or locking cable is included. If you need a complete system, the DJI Mic 3 1TX + 1RX kit or the 2TX + 1RX + Charging Case kit are both available at ITFactory.ca. The standalone transmitter is intended for expanding an existing Mic 3 system, adding a second transmitter for OsmoAudio use on a DJI camera, or replacing a transmitter in an existing kit.
How many transmitters can I connect to one Mic 3 receiver?
The DJI Mic 3 receiver supports up to four transmitters simultaneously. Starting from a 1TX + 1RX kit, you can add up to three additional standalone transmitters to mic a total of four speakers on one receiver — useful for panel discussions, roundtable recordings, and multi-guest interviews.
Can I use this transmitter directly with a DJI camera without a receiver?
Yes. The Mic 3 Transmitter supports OsmoAudio direct connection and pairs wirelessly with compatible DJI cameras — Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo Action 6, Osmo Nano, and Osmo 360 — without the receiver. Up to two transmitters can connect simultaneously to a single DJI camera this way, enabling two-person wireless audio without any receiver hardware.
Is this compatible with an older DJI Mic 2 receiver?
No. The DJI Mic 3 transmitter is only compatible with the DJI Mic 3 receiver and OsmoAudio DJI cameras. It is not backward compatible with DJI Mic 2 or DJI Mic Mini receivers. If you own a Mic 2 system and want to add transmitters, you need Mic 2 transmitters specifically.
Does the standalone transmitter come with a magnetic clip?
The standalone transmitter box includes two windscreens and a carrying pouch, but the magnetic clip accessory is not included — it is found in the full 1TX + 1RX and 2TX + 1RX kits. The transmitter does include a rotatable traditional clip for conventional lavalier placement. If you need the magnetic two-piece clip for hidden clothing attachment, it is available as a separate DJI accessory.
